Phillip crossed the border of North Dakota, and traveled along the same route Marisa and Wake traveled on. He looked into the sky. Lightning flashed loudly as Phillip began to wonder if Posiedon would really overthrow and banish Zeus. Then again, there was another solution that was too dangerous to cross paths with. Civil war. Just the word gave Phillip a weird sense of guiltyness

The road of the route to New York ended with a coffee shop surrounded by police cars and ambulances. Phillip wondered whether Wake or Marisa were in trouble. In truth, he never cared for Wake. He felt as if Wake was ready to give him death any second. But he definetly cared for Marisa. They had grown-up in Camp Demigod for most of their lives. He had considered her his own sister. He ran into police as he attempted to get inside Police officers tol him that there was currently a hostage situation inside.

"A wounded boy being held hostage by a girl inside. We're trying to negotiate, but no one's answering," the polce officer said. Hostage?! Phillip thought. Who would take the son of Zeus hostage? Excet for . . . .

"Posiedon!", Phillip said. He realized he had spoken out loud, because police officers were looking at him funny. He disappeared into the crowd and slipped past police lines. Phillip entered the coffee shops, avoiding officers and detectives, and slipped into the bathroom.

He looked into a toilet.

"Tunnel of Isis, open for Phillip Nq." The toilet popped into the ground as a small tunnel opened. Phillip crawled in.

He didn't realize it, but he made a move that jeopardized the entire quest.
