Ben Keane is a Demigod. The son of a mortal woman named Sharon and the Oneiroi Phobetor, the personification of nightmares. He grew up with a hard life as no matter what he did or tried, no one would spend any prolonged time around him besides his mother. Ben was constantly chased out of schools, places of business and just about everywhere else he went until a satyr found him and brought him to Camp Half-Blood.
Appearance[]
Ben normally wears a brown shirt, under a blue sweater, under a white coat, black pants, white sneakers and black fingerless gloves. He has blue-black hair and black eyes and his face and knuckles usually were covered in cuts and scraps from fighting in the streets, now that he's at Camp Half-Blood the cuts and scraps are still there, but from training rather than street fights.
Personality[]
Though he's the son of Phobetor, he's actually easily scared and doesn't like anything that can scare people. So he really dislikes his abilities and wishes he could get rid of them. Despite the absolute ease at which he is scared he will not back down from a fight or a challenge. Like many of Greek myths, Hubris is his fatal flaw.
History[]
Ben was born in Denver, Colorado to a single woman named Sharon Keane. How she attracted Phobetor's attention is unknown as she never shared with Ben who his father was or how they met. Ben always just assumed that his father was some business man that his mom had met at a bar and had a one night stand with. He didn't know the truth about who his father was until a couple of Cyclopes attacked his school and a satyr rescued him and took him to Camp Half-Blood.

Powers and Abilities[]
Astral Projection: While sleeping Ben can project his subconsiousness into the physical realm to move about and complete some simple tasks. Until he came to Camp Half-Blood, Ben was unaware of this ability which caused more problems than he already had.
Illusions of Fear: Being the child of nightmares, Ben instictively knows what someone's biggest fears are and can create illusions that only the person with the fear can see. While this causes no physical harm, the fear can possibly cause severe psychological damage. Until he came to Camp Half-Blood he was unaware of this ability as well. This ability is what caused most of Ben's problems in normal society.
