Her father, Antal, is Hungarian and Hispanic (his parents were both immigrants). Antal's early wife was Spanish. He loved her dearly but she died a sudden, unexpected death. After a few years, he met Nike and they had Dianira. Still having some feelings for his former wife, he named her Dianira, a name his lost wife liked. Of course, he still loved Nike too. It turns out that Nike was actually Antal's wife, but she couldn't go on pretending to be mortal. She thought that she could give him up, but after a few years, she decided to reveal herself to him in the form of a goddess.
Dianira's name honors both cultures. The name "Ildikó" comes from Hungary. It means fighter in Hungarian. Dainira is Spanish and means "he who kills forcefully"
Personality[]
Dainira doesn't take anything from anybody. If you talk smack to her she'll give it right back without hesitation. She has a quick temper and is not afraid to voice her opinions (which she does a lot). She stands up for herself and those around her. She often messes up in doing what's right and is self-serving (not in a really bad way. It's like she forgets to care about others). If you're one of her good friends she'll stand up for you and will always have your back. She doesn't open up to just about anyone, preferring to keep her more delicate emotions to herself, but she doesn't have a problem speaking her mind.
