The Enlightened Trilogy is a three-shot story written by Simon Layton (FlamingoValdez), primarily centered around canon characters Leo Valdez and Piper McLean and their relationship. The setting is an alternate universe, after the Giant/Gaea war, post second series.

The Bridges Ablaze[]

The war is over, the war is won. But the seven half-bloods of the Second Great Prophecy had lost someone important. Piper McLean recalls the last few remaining memories and moments with Leo Valdez.

Guilt keeps coming to Piper during the night, making her restless. Her mind keeps being plagued with memories and dreams and make-believe memories and bad dreams of Leo Valdez. She decides to seek out the people who had known him before, and to find out what Leo had dreamed the few nights before the Argo arrived to the House of Hades.
