Hi there person! I'm guessing you came here because you're new to Wikia, or just need some quick reminder. We hope this guide is helpful to you and your knowledge on having a good wikia experience!

People on the Wiki

The following list of users are the active administrators on this wiki. If you need to report vandalism, go to one of their talk pages. If you need any help, don't be afraid to ask them. The usernames of administrators will appear bolded in the Recent Changes. The green means that the user is a bureaucrat. The aqua color means the user is only an administrator.

Chat Moderators

Chat moderators are users who have access to kicking (giving the user who misbehaves an official warning) users and banning (having the user have no ability whatsoever to access the chat depending on how long the chat moderator has set the time) users.

This is a list of active Rollbacks. Rollbacks can quickly revert multiple edits.

Talk Pages

Talk pages are a big part of the wiki. There are two different types of talk pages, article talk pages, which follow naming like this Talk:Article's Name and user talk pages, which follow naming like this User talk:Username.

Article Talk Pages

Article talk pages are much different from User talk pages. On article talk pages, you can't

  • Insert random gibberish about how much you love the character.
  • Randomly yell at a user for undoing your edit.

However, you can

  • Politely ask why your edit was removed.
  • Discuss a change in a certain part of the article.
  • Discuss the articles name in the case that the name might be incorrect.

User Talk Pages

User talk pages are different. On user talk pages, you can

  • Send a user a friendly message.
  • Welcome a new user.
  • Congratulate a user on being granted rollback or administrator rights.
  • Ask a user if you can use a code they figured out.
  • Thank a user for helping you out with a couple of edits.
  • Anything friendly.

Edit Buttons

There is a row at the top of your edit screen that contains buttons that help with editing. This row looks like this http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/EditButtons.png and contains buttons from making text bold, to making a redirect.

http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/BoldButton.png Bold

Making text bold is easy. You can make text bold by pressing the following button: http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/BoldButton.png By pressing that button, the following will show up inline with the rest of the text: '''Bold text''' Pressing the button achieves the same effect as using three apostrophes as such: '''Text here''' which will show up on the page as Text here.

Another way to achieve the effect of bold text is to use a <span> tag. To use a span tag to make text bold you must use the following: <span style="font-weight:bold;"> and make sure to close it with </span>.

Making text italic is easy. You can make text italic by pressing the following button: http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/ItalicButton.png By pressing that button, the following will show up inline with the rest of the text: ''Italic text'' or you could use the following code ''Italic Text Here'', which'll show up as Italic Text Here.

http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/LinkImage.png Internal Links

Links on wikis are different from regular links, you can either use the button, http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/LinkImage.png, that will place the following inline with the rest of the text: [[Link title]]

If I were to link to the page Link, I would type in [[Link]] and it'd show up yellow. To make a link have different text than what the title of the page is, use the following code: [[Page Title Here|Awesome Page]]. If I were to link to Link with "Awesome Page" as the alternative title, it would show up as Awesome Page.

http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/ExternalLinkButton.png External Links

External links are different from internal links in two main ways: They only have one bracket, and you don't include the pipe when creating alternative text.

You can create an external link by pressing the following button: http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/ExternalLinkButton.png by pressing this button, the following appears inline with the rest of the text: [http://www.example.com link title]

If I were to link to Google, I would place the following on the page [http://google.com Google] which would appear as Google on the page.

You may see external links showing up as a number with brackets around it, like so: [1] which means that there is no alternative text. The following is the Google link without alternative text: [1]

Most pages have Level 2 Headers. Level 2 Headers show up as 1.1 in the Table of Contents when there is a Level 1 Header present, and as 1. in the Table of Contents when there isn't a Level 1 Header present. To add a Level 2 Header, you can press the button http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i459/Jazzinsomniac/Wiki%20Stuff/Help%20Page/HeadlineButton.png, or you can use this format == Headline Text ==

The nowiki button causes an HTML tag pair to appear on the page. When pressed, the following appears on the screen inline with the rest of the text: <nowiki>Insert non-formatted text here</nowiki>

The purpose of the <nowiki> tag is to show coding
