"The greatest heroes emerge from the Chaos within, not from their popularity or rank." - Gaius Augustus Dominus Caesar

History

Gaius Augustus Dominus Caesar is one of the Primis Praetor of the 1st Imperium of the New Roman European Coalition. He is the child of the God, Jupiter, and the son of the Goddess, Venus. Gaius, however, is mortal. When he was born, he was cursed by the Primordial Deity, Nyx, so that he would never be a God. Gaius was then washed away by one of the rivers of the Underworld.

Gaius was, after a few months of being carried by the river Acheron, plucked out of the river by the Goddess, Minerva. Minerva nursed Gaius back to his health and then handed him to the Empress of the New Roman European Coalition. Minerva instructed the Empress to take care of little Gaius as if she were her own, and that is exactly what she did.

Early Life

Gaius had a hard life growing up. He was always much stronger than the other children who grew up in the imperium. Gaius occasionally led quests. He was charged with his first quest when he was only five years of age. After coming back from the quest for the Diadem of Empress Theodora, Gaius was raised to the rank of Centurion and was granted his Stygian Iron kite-shield as a gift from his surrogate mother. He proceeded to go on five more quests after that before his hardest feat, The Dark Crown Of Nyx. The Dark Crown of Nyx was a quest that Gaius embarked on when he was ten. He took his brother Hadrian and one of his best friends at the time, Aria MacArmin. Together, the three of them ventured to the place known as Tartarus. It was a gruelling quest that they barely succeeded in. The objective of the quest had been to successfully venture into the House of Night and steal the Dark Fiery Crown, of the primordial goddess, Nyx. Gaius, while running from Nyx with his companions, was knocked unconscious and pushed into the river Lethe by one of the arai. He was then brought before Nyx and he had no memory. His brother and his friend were able to recapture him from Nyx and restore his memory by tricking the god, Aesculapius, into treating his memory. They were only able to get by Aesculapius' guard, Hygeia, by revealing their need for emergency care and giving Hygeia their real health insurance cards which Hadrian had brought with them because of his Paranoia. Aesculapius refused at first, but upon seeing the condition of Gaius and the truth of whom Gaius' parents were, treated him. Upon returning to the Imperium in Rome, Gaius, Aria, and Hadrian, were promoted to the ranks of Secundarium Praetors, which is one rank below the rank of Primis Praetor.
