Harkon Golden-Fist is a son of Odin currently living in Valhalla. He was born during the early Viking Age and became a very known person who, unlike others at his time, would usually use his fists alone to fight, what gave him the Golden-Fist and Fist of Odin aliases. Harkon died in battle with the dragon Merinir that culminated in both him and the dragon slaying each other.

History[]

Born on 713 C.E. (Common Era, also known as Anno Domini) to Odin and an unknown Germanic woman, Harkon was always gifted with an unlikely high amount of physical power, even above other children of Odin. Since he was a child he's fighting every single person he finds worth of his time. At adult age, Harkon was known for his constant attacks on small villages and fortresses alike, either looking for food and money or a good fight. He spend most of his life looking for a good death.

It was when he had thirty the first time he knew about his father, Odin. By then, Harkon also heard about the All-Father Prophecy and believed to be himself the Crowborn mentioned in it. Looking for the enemy of Valhalla, Harkon came to cross Merinir the Black and, believing it to be his enemy, personally tracked down the beast through it's rampage across Nothern Europe. This hunting culminated in a great battle between Harkon and the dragon, which resulted in the death of both the combatants -- with the help of Odin's bless, Harkon was able to get enough strength to, with a powerful blow that made earth and sky shake, pierce through Merinir's scales and hit it's heart, but at the cost of his life since the dragon's body fell from the sky and crushed the son of Odin, killing him.

Harkon was then sent to Valhalla, the hall of the gods, where he should spend the eternity fighting and getting ready for the coming of the Ragnarök. At some point, Odin revealed him he wasn't the Crowborn of the prophecy, but was destined to guide him when it's time. It was during a quest for the Sword of Amil -- a very powerful son of Thor living in Valhalla -- that he found Arthur Eriksson, a Norse demigod son of Odin with the gift of prophecy, who he believes to be the Crowborn.
