Chris P.O.V
"This is why I don't ride mortal transport." I said sitting on the roof of the car.
The engine was smoking and Golden Boy tried to fix the car. You see, I give off a very ancient and strong demigod aura, which pretty much makes mortal technology go haywire. Which as you can see.....or read..was what happened with the car.
"Couldn't you at least warn us?" Goldy, oops sry, I mean Josh, stared at me.
"I did." I countered.
"No you didn't!" He snapped.
"Oh must of slipped my mind then." I took out the map, the blue arrow brightly glowing blue.
"What the-" Josh checked his pockets. "You stole that from me!"
"A haven't you heard the phrase, 'it's okay to steal from a thief'?" I said without looking at him. "Plus you should be careful, some pickpocket, someday will steal something important from your pockets."
I heard some unaudible grunting coming from him, which I ignored.
"Well I guess we're walking." Kat, the balance scale said.
"What about the car?" Golden Boy said.
"90% of the time, cars that demigods drive on quests usually end up destroyed anyway. So might as well." I followed Kat who had already begun walking.
Eventually, Cheyyenne and Josh followed.
"Hey catch!" I threw the map at Josh and he caught it with a surprised look on his face.
"Giving up all ready? Cheyyenne asked.
"Nah, I really don't need eternal youth. I'm already Immortal. Well partly." I said.
They all stopped at once, shocked expression on their faces. I sighed. I pulled back the sleeve of my Jacket, revealing the mark of Nyx on my arm. Two cresent moons, with their tips touching.
"See this? As long as this is on my skin, I will neither age or die by growing old." I explained.
"Okay. That's cool." Kat said.
"Whatever lets go." I snapped.
I knew now they were going to see me in a different light. Speaking of light, the sunlight was starting to bug me. It was making me nauseous. I pulled the hood of my jacket over my head, in a desperate attempt to shield myself from the sun as we headed south on foot.
