PART ONE[]
Chapter One[]
As the clock struck 3 AM, a siren began going off. The sound was foreign, not the usual mellow beep beep beep that signified a non-urgent situation. This was a harsh, a loud, blaring, deep siren resembling one on a military base that signals an oncoming invasion.
The entire residency of the base came running to the main conference room.
A skylight showed the twinkling stars of the nightsky from three stories above. A large, ovl glass conference table took up a fraction of the room. High line chairs were sat around, white in color. The architect and interior designer shared their taste; ultra contemporary. A large holographic screen stood at the front of the room. It dwarfed a majority of the world's cinema screens.
There was no time to admire the luxary they had been blessed with. The screen flashed different shades of red, black text reading "Critical Assistance Request Recieved from 108 WL"
Hearts sank. Tired bodies scrambled into their seats as their leaders took place at the head of the table. There, a large tabet was nestled for the easy use.
Without shamed Lucian pushed his sister out of the way. He took control and tapped the screen.
The flashing ceased and another message popped up.
Employees missing found dead. Evil surrounding. They're coming for al stalking us. Can only keep away for so long.
