The Son of Neptune is the second book of the Heroes of Olympus series which will come out in October, 2011. This is just a fanfiction of what I think will happen in The Son of Neptune.

Story

Chapter 1. Percy

I have been escaping from monsters for one month. Two months ago I woke up in the middle of the night in a park. I couldn't remember most of my life, I just remembered a beautiful girl with blond hair and gray eyes. I had a golden pen which transformed into a huge golden sword. He somehow knew it was called Anaklusmos also known as Riptide. I had an orange shirt that said Camp and something else which was burned so you couldn't read it. I remembered some things like the girl with the gray eyes who's named stated with an A, someone called Grover and that Greek gods and monsters existed.

I have been running away from monsters for weeks now. I have faced many monsters and I have been able to kill or escape them. I was currently been followed by two monsters, Euryale and Stheno.

I was in a cliff in San Francisco. I managed to get a cheeseburger from a nice man who saw me with my torn clothes and gave me 20 dollars and the cheeseburger. I was going to look for a place to rest when I heard the voices of the two gorgons.

"Perseus Jackson!" screamed Euryale.

I was completely sure it was the two gorgons. I grabbed my stuff and left running.

"Euryale, did you hear that?" asked Stheno.

"Yes, that must be him" said Euryale. "Let's go"

I heard them get closer and closer. I was tired and needed to rest but I couldn't, if I did then that would be letting myself get killed. I stopped and turned around I took Riptide out and got prepared to fight.

"Look Euryale, it looks like our young hero wants to die already" said Stheno.

"This is going to be fun" said Euryale while smiling.

"I am not going to run anymore, I am going to kill you!" I screamed.

"You may have the Curse of Achilles boy, but we will find your weakness" said Euryale.

The gorgons attacked me. I dodged most of the gorgons attacked; I jumped over Euryale and kicked her back. Stheno grabbed my leg and smashed me to the ground. Stheno attacked again but this time I was faster, I dodged the attack then I cut out one of Stheno's fingers.

"Ahhhhh!" yelled Stheno in pain.

I went towards a tree . The gorgons jumped at me but I knew this was coming, I got out of the way and both of the gorgons hit the tree. I stabbed Euryale in the chest then she turned into golden dust.

"Nooo!" screamed Stheno. " You are going to pay demigod!"

The gorgon attacked me again. She was about to hit me when an arrow hit Stheno right in the forehead. I looked back and saw a boy with black hair holding a bow and an arrow. Stheno turn into golden dust. There were two girls behind him, they all looked the same age (16 or 15) they all had the same purple shirt which said Camp Half-Blood. The girl on the right of the boy had blond hair and blue eyes. The girl on his left had brown hair and brown eyes. The boy had black hair and dark brown eyes.

"Hey I am Bobby" said the boy.

"I am Percy"

"You are a demigod aren't you?"

"Yeah I think" I said. "I've been escaping monsters for weeks"

"By the way this is Hazel, daughter of Apollo" he points to the girl on his left. "And this is Gwen, daughter of Venus" he points to the girl on his right.

"Here follow us we'll take you to Lupa"

I followed them. I was curious and didn't trust them that much, I had a strange feeling. They took me to a huge place that pretty much looked like a camp. It had a coliseum, some horses with wings, a lake, a forest, cabins, a basketball court and a huge entrance to what looked like a cave.

There was a lot of people there. Some of them were shooting arrows others were fighting with swords and others were playing basketball.

"So where you from?" asked Gwen

"I don't remember"

"What do you mean you don't remember" asked Bobby.

"Well I don't know, I woke up two months ago not remembering anything well only a few things like my name, a girl with blond hair and gray eyes and also that Greek gods and monsters existed." I said

"You mean Roman gods" said Bobby

"Bobby!" screamed Hazel. "Jason went missing two months ago"

"So?"

"Maybe Percy has something to do with Jason's disappearance" said Hazel

"Who's Jason?" I asked.

"There is a lot of things to explain Percy but we have to take you to Lupa first" said Bobby.

They entered a cave. The cave was huge and it didn't smell very good and it barely had any light. Gwen and Hazel stayed outside while Bobby and I went inside. Bobby took me to the darkest part of the cave the only light visible was from a candle.

Chapter 2.Percy

"Lupa, we found-"

"Hello Perseus Jackson" said a giant gray wolf who came out of the shadows. She was obviously Lupa. She began to circle Percy. "Bobby leave" said Lupa. Bobbie bowed and left the cave. "Why are you here Percy?"

"I don't know, I don't remember anything" answered Percy.

"Interesting you will be given a tour of camp and you will have a test this Friday to see if you are worthy to live"

"A test?" asked

"Yes, you will receive training and explanations soon" said Lupa. They both left the cave. "Bobby I want you to give Percy a tour and help him train for his test this Friday"

"Yes Lupa" said Bobby

Bobby took Percy on a tour; he showed him all of the cabins, the coliseum, the lake and the entrance to the forest.

"I've think I been here before" said Percy.

"Are you sure?" asked Bobby. "I don't think I've seen you before"

"Well everything looks familiar and there is something very familiar about the Posei- I mane Neptune Cabin" said Percy

"Why do you keep using the Greek names?"

"I don't know they just sound familiar"

A girl with black hair and gray eyes walked towards them. The girl reminded him of the girl that he kind of remembered. She didn't look happy and you could've of notice that she had been crying.

"Hey Reyna" said Bobby

"Hi Bobby, that's the new kid?" asked Reyna

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"Gwen told me"

"Ohh his name is Percy" said Bobby. "Her name is Reyna, daughter of Minerva" he said looking at Percy"

"Hi Reyna, nice meeting you" said Percy.

"He's undetermined" said Bobby. "I am son of Apollo by the way and he's test is going to be this Friday so I need to train him"

"Want me to help you? Asked Reyna. "I need a distraction"

"Great so now I am a distraction"

She just stared at me with those cold gray eyes. I was kind of intimidated.

"Have you seen Hazel?" she asked

"Yeah she's in her cabin, she had to get something" answered Bobby

"Ohh okay, want me to help you with Percy?" she asked.

"Sure" said Bobby. "You don't mind Percy, right?"

"No problem" I said

Bobby and Reyna got their weapons from their cabins. Reyna had two daggers and Bobby had a silver sword. I had my sword which was Riptide. I was about to attack when two boys came towards us.

"Hey Frank" said Bobby.

"Hey Bob, this is the new kid?" said Frank

"Yeah, we are helping him train"

"I am Percy"

"I am Frank and this is Kyle" said Frank pointing to the boy on his right. Frank had blonde hair and blue eyes, he reminded him of someone but he didn't know who. "Well you'll have to train a lot cause in this camp its conquer or die, that's what Lupa always says"

Frank and Kyle left. They all got prepared to fight. Reyna told Bobby something which sounded like Latin; I was only able to understand one word which was first.

"Ready?" she asked

"Yeah, wait before we start, was it true what Frank said"

Reyna attacked me. She went for my leg, she tried to cut me but I easily dodged it. She attacked me again but I was faster, I grabbed her wrists and then disarmed her. I pointed my sword at her neck.

"How did you do that" she asked

"I don't know" I said. I had no idea how I was able to do that, I just followed my instincts I guess.

Bobby attacked me from behind. I felt it coming and turned around just in time to hit Bobby in the face with the lower part of my sword.

"How did you do that?" repeated Reyna. "I am one of the best fighters here, its just impossible for you to beat me and Bobby"

They both stood up. Bobby was bleeding from his nose.

"Sorry" I said

"Let's try again" said Bobby

Campers were around us now, they were all watching as if it was a football game. They were gathered in a circle around them. Most of them were whispering things. I heard one of them say that Bobby and Reyna were never defeated by a new camper and less disarmed.

Chapter 3. Bobby

I don't know how Percy was able to beat us so easily like we are one of the best fighters in camp and we were just beaten by a new kid. I was very curious of Percy and had a lot of questions like, Why was he alive at the age of 16 or Why doesn't he remember anything?

"You ready?" asked Reyna

"Yeah" answered Percy

"We launched ourselves at Percy. Percy kicked me right in the stomach and I went flying. Reyna was fighting Percy. Percy had the upper hand. Reyna was good fighter, she was an expert at roman fighting but Percy was fighting in another style. Percy hit Reyna in the legs and she fell. I threw my sword directly at him. Percy got out of the way just in time but was pushed to the lake by Reyna. Percy fell in the lake but quickly got out but this time he looked more confident and stronger than before.

"Look he isn't wet" yelled a camper.

I hadn't notice but it was true, Percy had fell in the lake but came out dry. How was that possible?

Reyna attacked again. Percy hit Reyna in the chest and quickly disarmed her. He then pointed his sword at her neck.

"Guess I win" he said.

All of the campers looked surprised, they looked as if they had seen a zombie but I'm not surprise at their reaction even I am like that I mean, how is that possible?

"How did you do that?" I asked

"Instincts I guess"

I was sure Percy had been trained before. He couldn't just beat us in his first fight. He fought in strange way.

"What are you all doing here?" growled Reyna. "Leave!"

All of the campers that were watching the fight left except for Hazel, Gwen, Kyle and Frank.

"Percy, where did you learn to fight like that?" asked Gwen

"Yeah it's a strange style of fighting and it's definitely not Roman" said Frank

"I already told you a million times that I don't remember"

"Well I guess you don't need any training now Percy" I said

"Maybe he'll be claimed at campfire" said Hazel

"Claimed?" asked Percy

"It's when you find out who your godly parent is" answered Kyle

"Well I heard some campers said some things about you like that you are weird, dangerous and I think I heard one of the Venus daughters say you are hot" said Frank

All of us laughed except Reyna and Percy who was blushing.

"Why do they find me dangerous?" asked Percy.

"You beat Bobby and Reyna" said Frank

"So?"

"Well they are one of the best campers here, Reyna is in the first legion and Bobby in the third legion so that's saying a lot" said Hazel

"You are the first one to beat them in your first fight and together" said Gwen

"Yeah man, that's like impossible" said Frank "I mean like when I first came here I couldn't even land a punch on Bobby"

"Maybe it's because you suck at fighting" said Gwen. Everyone laughed

"Hey!" growled Frank

"I think you've been trained before, Percy" I said

"Like I said a million times, I don't remember"

"Wait, why can't you remember anything?" asked Frank

"They found him like that" said Reyna

"How do you know?" asked Percy

"Gwen told me"

"You mean Roman?" asked Frank

"He confuses them" I said

I had a feeling Percy came from somewhere else like another training place maybe he was trained in Olympus or was kept under protection by the gods for a reason. I don't know how he's been able to survive, he's 16 and is alive that's impossible. He beat us easily like if we were new campers and he was the teacher. Maybe his a very powerful child of Mars, no he doesn't have the appearance to be one.

"So where do I get to sleep?" asked Percy

"You'll be staying in the Mercury cabin until you get claimed" I said

"Yeah dad doesn't mind" said Kyle. "You'll be staying with me and Frank, we are both sons of Mercury"

"He's the god of thieves and the messenger of the gods, right?" asked Percy

"Yeah, so you better watch your stuff" said Frank

Chapter 4. Annabeth

"I miss him so much Thals" I said while tears where falling from my face. Two weeks ago we found out that there was a Roman Camp and Percy might be there. I was trying to think of something else but I couldn't. I just couldn't get the idea that my Seaweed Brain was with another girl or that he wouldn't remember anything of our past not even the kisses we shared.

"It's going to be alright" said Thalia

"What if he's with another girl?"

"He won't be, I am not very good with relationships but I know you are the most important thing in his life"

"How do you know?"

"I can tell"

"I just can't stop thinking of him"

"Why don't you take a shower and then we go and have some fun"

"Sure"

We walked towards the Athena cabin. I took a quick shower which didn't help because the water reminded me of the sea and the sea reminded me of Percy.

"Annabeth are you alright? Asked my brother Malcolm

"I just need some air, Mal"

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

"We all care for you Annabeth, we are your brothers and sisters and we don't like to see you sad"

"Don't worry I'll be fine" I left the Athena Cabin. Thalia was waiting outside; she was a hunter and my best friend. She came to camp yesterday.

"You ready?" she asked

"Yeah I think so"

"Don't worry Annabeth, you'll soon be in Percy's arms"

"That isn't helping Thals. I just need to get a distraction until we go to the Roman Camp"

We were walking towards the arena when Piper approached us. Piper was a daughter of Aphrodite and one of my best friends even though I just met her. She always helped me with my 'Love issues' maybe it was because she taught she was in love with someone who she knew her whole life but didn't really know him it was just the mist messing with her mind (I know its complicated) or maybe it was because she was the daughter of the goddess of love.

"Hey Thalia, when did you arrive?" asked Piper

"I arrived yesterday; I and Annabeth are going to go to the arena. Want to come?"

"Sure, have you seen Jason?"

"No, we thought he was with you" I said

"Ohh I'll look for him later then"

We were heading to the arena when we heard a strange noise coming from the forest.

"What was that?" asked Piper

"What?" said Thalia

"The noise from the forest"

"You must be dreaming, Piper"

"No, I heard it too" I said

"Want to go check what it is?" she asked

"Sure, it might be the Stoll brothers planning on doing some pranks on someone or something like that" said Thalia

We got closer to the sound. It sounded as if someone was punching a wall with their head. We got closer and found Jason. His hands were bleeding and you could've felt sparks around him. I heard Piper murmured something but I didn't hear it.

"What are you doing here?" he growled

"Why are you bleeding!" exclaimed Thalia

"I asked first" he said

"We heard noises and decide to come here" she said

This reminded me of that time that Percy made a huge hole in his cabin.

-Flashback—

"Hey Wise Girl" said the love of my life, Percy Jackson

"Hello Seaweed Brain"

"Want to go to the beach?" he asked

"Yeah" I left my cabin and we walked towards the beach holding hands. We sat and looked at the ocean.

"Annabeth, can I ask you something?"

"Sure, Seaweed Brain"

"Did you love Luke?"

"What?"

"Did you love him more than me?" he asked

I couldn't believe he was asking me that. I stood and ran to my cabin. I went to my bad and stayed there crying.

"Annabeth, I am sorry!" he said while knocking on the door. "Please Annabeth, I didn't mean to say that"

"Go away!" I yelled

"No Annabeth, I can't live without you"

He knocked on the doors for hours until it was dark then he left to his cabin.

I went the next day to his cabin and found him hitting the wall with his fists. There was a huge hole and he was bleeding from his hands.

"P-Percy?"

He turned around. His eyes were red and he wasn't wearing a shirt which made me be able to see his six pack.

"Annabeth, I am very sorry. I didn't want to get you mad" he said." I love you Annabeth and I can't live without you"

He told me he loved me, I was so happy. I walked towards him and kissed him.

"You forgive me?" he asked

"Of course Seaweed Brain" I said. "I love you two" We kissed again

Then we hugged and we kept kissing for a very long time.
